Aluminium internal corner screens
Aluminium internal corner screens provide a refined way to divide adjoining spaces while maintaining openness,
light and visual continuity. Designed to meet cleanly at a right angle, corner screens create separation without
blocking sightlines.
Manufactured using the Alu Space internal glazing system, all corner screens are made to measure and suitable for
residential and commercial environments across the UK.
Designed for open-plan layouts
Corner screens are particularly effective where two spaces meet and need definition without a solid wall.
By glazing the corner, light is able to pass through both elevations, keeping interiors bright and visually connected.
They are commonly used to:
- Separate kitchens and living areas
- Create home office zones within larger rooms
- Divide dining and lounge spaces
- Zone commercial interiors and studios
- Introduce architectural features within open-plan layouts
Corner screens allow spaces to feel distinct while remaining connected.
What is an aluminium corner screen?
A corner screen consists of two fixed glazed aluminium panels that meet at a right angle.
Both panels are non-opening and installed within a coordinated frame system designed specifically for corner applications.
Corner screens can be used:
- As standalone glazed corners
- As part of wider partition systems
- In combination with hinged or sliding doors
All components are manufactured as a single integrated system to ensure consistent sightlines,
bar alignment and frame proportions.

Sizes and make sizes
All corner screens are manufactured to approved make sizes based on your supplied measurements in millimetres.
Typical make size guidance
- Panel width – determined by layout, glazing choice and midrail configuration
- Overall height – from 1800mm up to 3000mm
For taller openings, fan lights can be incorporated to maintain proportions and design consistency.
If your opening exceeds standard guidance, a bespoke configuration will be recommended.
Glazing options
Clear 8mm
Clear 18mm
Satin 6mm
Reeded 4mm
Reeded 18mm
Panelling 8mm
Panelling 18mm
Glazing selection allows control over privacy, acoustics and light diffusion.
Midrails and design options
- 2-midrail design
- 3-midrail design
A 3-midrail configuration introduces an additional horizontal bar across both panels,
creating a more traditional steel-look appearance. Additional midrails increase cost depending on panel size and quantity.
Colours and finishes
Black RAL 9005 Matt is the standard finish.
Special RAL colours are available on request and priced as a percentage of the base system cost, subject to a minimum charge.
Special finishes must be the same on both sides of the frame.
