A simple way to divide space and retain light
Fixed screens are ideal where separation is needed but access is provided elsewhere. They are commonly used to define zones within open-plan layouts
while keeping spaces visually connected.
Typical applications include:
- Kitchen and living area separation
- Home office partitions
- Stair and hallway screening
- Commercial office zoning
- Retail and hospitality interiors
Because they do not open, fixed screens offer a minimalist, low-maintenance solution.
What is an aluminium fixed screen?
A fixed screen is a non-opening glazed aluminium partition installed within a fixed frame. It can be used:
- As a standalone glazed panel
- Alongside hinged doors
- Alongside sliding doors
- As part of a wider partition system
All fixed screens are designed as part of a coordinated aluminium internal system, ensuring consistent proportions, midrail alignment and finish across your interior.

Typical make size guidance
- Panel width – determined by layout, glazing choice and midrail configuration
- Overall height – 1800mm up to 3000mm
For taller openings, fan lights can be incorporated to extend height while maintaining proportions. If your opening exceeds standard guidance, bespoke partition layouts are available.

Midrails and design options
Fixed screens can be specified with:
- 2-midrail design
- 3-midrail design
A 3-midrail design introduces an additional horizontal bar, offering a more traditional steel-look appearance.
Additional midrails increase cost based on the number of panels used.
Colours and finishes
Black RAL 9005 Matt is the standard finish.
Special RAL colours are available on request and priced as a percentage of the base system cost, subject to a minimum charge.
Special finishes must be the same on both sides of the frame.
